Perfect Peach Cobbler

It's peach season. 

I received my peach cobbler recipe from my sister.
It is a favorite of mine and my sis- in-law.
My sister in law made a special change and it's always a winner 
every time it is served.
You can used canned or fresh peaches.

Perfect Peach Cobbler
3 cups fresh or Delmonte Freestone canned peaches
1 T lemon juice
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
6 T. melted butter
1tsp. vanilla extract 
Place peaches in the bottom of a 10 by 6 baking  dish.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Sift dry ingredients, add egg, tossing with fork until crumbly. 
Sprinkle over peaches and drizzle with butter. 
Bake at 375 for 50 minutes. 
Check to make sure the crust is lightly browned and bubbly.
Serve with Breyer's natural vanilla ice cream.
We love Bryers because it doesn't have a bunch of fake stuff in it.
This tastes like summer!
